In a major development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has carried out surprise raids at the residence and office of Tamil film producer Akash Baskaran in Chennai. The probe centers on alleged financial irregularities linked to his production house, Don Pictures.
The raids took place at his home on K.P.N. Dasan Road, Teynampet, Chennai, where officials are examining documents and electronic devices to gather evidence.
