Google Chrome is silently auto-installing a 4 GB Gemini Nano AI model file on user devices without any consent, enabling AI features by default. Users must disable AI features completely or uninstall Chrome to remove this large AI model file.

If you use #Edge — and you probably shouldn’t — don’t use its password management function.
My current recommendation is to use at least two browsers. One for things you log into (I use #Vivaldi for that purpose) and one set to wipe its history on exit (#Firefox or a fork) with an ad blocker (such as Ad Nauseum) configured.
Close the wiping browser between tasks. Let the wiping browser be your default.
The 2+ browser strategy won’t give you privacy but it will lessen the bullshit and slightly decrease your vulnerability to certain types of attacks.
