…and just before we left, we luckily remembered to take another group picture! So this is the Hohenheim #ecoevo modelling group after an inspiring week at #ECEM23 in Leipzig!
Now we’re heading home, a bit tired, but our heads are full of new ideas… 🤩
(Credits go to our photographer @Louzula! Thanks for taking this great picture!)
My #ECEM23 talk is today (Sep 5th) at 11:30 AM in Hall 1 B.
"Exploring spatial autocorrelation and variable importance in machine learning models using
patternograms"
Now that was a successful conference start in Leipzig!
When I submitted my proposal for a session on feedback loops, I was hoping for maybe 2 or 3 submissions in addition to the talks from my own group. But now we have 14 contributions! Enough to fill a whole day! So we will actually have 3 sessions, not just one, on Thursday in Saal 1B. Come join us! #ECEM23.
Oh, how nice! 😊
Just in time for #ECEM23 we got the good news that our latest paper on eco-evo feedback in plant-pollinator systems got accepted at Evolutionary Ecology! (Yes, yes, I know, we still have to fix some very minor details, but who wants to hear that, it’s basically good to be published, so hooray! 🥳)
Wanna know more? Then come to Avril‘s talk on Thursday in our feedback loop session (S23)! Or check out the preprint:
🚆 This week I am at the #ECEM23 conference in Leipzig, Germany.🚆
Let me know if some of you are also there and want to talk about #rspatial, #geocompx, #openscience, etc.
