Go Big Red! Cornell Hockey wins the ECAC Tournament for the 2nd year in a row, making it a lock that they'll end up at the NCAA Tournament. It's Coach Mike Schaefer's last year--gonna be a doozy.

Most outstanding player in the tournament was Cornell's senior goalie Ian Shane.

Brilliant sequence in the second game in Lake Placid today: trailing 4-3 with 4 minutes and change to go, Dartmouth pulls the goalie after a Cornell icing. The strategy looks good, as Dartmouth keeps the puck alive in the offensive zone for over a minute and the Cornell players get more and more tired. But at last they clear to center ice, change all five players, score on the empty net, and go on to win 6-3! #CollegeHockey #cornell #dartmouth #ECACHockey
