This is the shit technology is supposed to solve for us. Image- and text-based communicators equally accommodated, automatically.
Also, there's a very real accessibility component. Many people are not able to describe things in words, are #dyslexic, likely both, struggling with language barriers, etc. We should not assume the ease of written words is universal.
Did Claude distill Abba's Dancing Queen? Here's what the evidence suggests
Some days I genuinely prefer my #dyslexic version of what I read 😸
As a #dyslexic I can't study to learn the rules of a language. Yet I never had an issue with Japanese which is often considered difficult?
これは本当に何ですか
Reading just the syllables in the sentence above in my head it becomes:
kore wa ?? ni ? des ka?
Punctuation is implied. I know the sound patterns. Now the ? are kanji which can be read multiple ways. 日本 means Japanese which contains "book". 当然 means obvious, and it contains the "correct" kanji pronounced the same. Together they become "honestly".
何処 wouldn't work for the last one cause it's pronounced do and it feels off. But 何人 works and the whole sentence is "sound"✌️
The fuck is this?
So that's what I make of it 😸
I've always had that #neurodivergent curiosity and soaked up the knowledge of topics that vaguely interested me. As a #dyslexic I couldn't however learn from rules like most people. Going through school studying was pointless for me. I didn't know why but I knew tests would come out the same wether I study or not. There was nothing I could do to affect my grades.
I also love sharing my knowledge with people around me. Only explaining something based on my intuitive understanding doesn't work well. So I did what I always do when I want to learn something. I put myself in more situations where I explain things to people and make mental notes of what's confusing me. Until I picked up the patterns of how other people respond to my words.
This is what it means when someone has Big Picture Thinking.
Once I get my finances back in check (pay off debt) the dyslexic ASUS ROG STRIX x670e-f motherboard (when I say this, the problems* are well documented) will be replaced with one that supercedes it, ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-E.
*Sound, PCI-E and NIC are all routed via USB and suffer random frequent "disconnections". USB ports "disconnect" when anything is plugged into them at random. Graphics shuts off. System reboots during standby.

#ScribesAndMakers 5/4. How many songs are there where you know all the lyrics by heart?
#Dyslexic brain here. So none most of the time. Or all, because dyslexia affects recall so the lyrics are in there somewhere.
I can usually remember the first verses ok. Or the first line. If I hear the opening bars. Or if I'm being earwormed.
Going off book for performances is a huge struggle.
