At least with metal frames and bolts, corrections are relatively painless.
Wood is much worse.
Therefore all furniture frames should be metal.

Likewise, there are several places with signs claiming the 19th century assertion that they are the centre of England.

None of them are close to where the Ordnance Survey found the geometric centre of England to be in the 20th.

These islands do love retaining the 19th century tripe for tourists.
