I recently had cause to buy a new lavatory seat from my local big DIY place and I noticed that it was made from something called #Duroplast. This name seemed familiar, and a quick online search confirmed that, yes, this is indeed the very same resin-impregnated pressed cloth fibre substance from which, notoriously, East German #Trabant cars were made.
