If you ever asked yourself how the process of #compiling #C #code on a #Commodore64 looks like, here's a short clip I grabbed while compiling a small utility routine.
I'm using #JiffyDOS and a #1541ultimate2plus with two 1541 drives configured. I also ran the same setup with two #SD2IEC devices before and no JiffyDOS which doesn't seem make much of a difference.
And just in case you wonder, this is the #PowerC compiler from Lyon Labs for the C64.
Still, if you are serious about coding on the old #breadbin I'd rather recommend you use #DurexForth or #Assembler ... heh ...

Check out this #c64 implementation of the Stepping Feet illusion code.

Another little demo written in #durexforth for the #c64. This one is an experiment with extended background colour mode and uses 56 unique character tiles.
After a 24 year wait, the Windows "3D Pipes" screensaver is finally available on the #Commodore64 and I only had to drop one of the D's from the 3D!
