Overview The City of Kennett is a city in and the county seat of Dunklin County, Missouri, along United States Route 412 and Missouri Routes 84 and 25. Overall, the community is in the Missouri Bootheel and is located four (4) miles east of Arkansas and twenty (20) miles west of the Mississippi River. Heading west along Route 84 provides direct access to Arkansas Route 90 by crossing the state line.
