scyShort, spoiler-less review for "Dune: Prophecy" season 1 (2024):
Late to the party, started "Dune: Prophecy" today.
First episode is pretty good. I'm especially impressed by the production design. This show looks absolutely gorgeous, and very much in line with Denis Villeneuve's movies. (Which is also kind of strange, because the series takes place 10,000 years earlier.)
They appear to be leaning heavily into the political drama side of things, which I quite like, but also requires a certain amount of focus when watching.
