It's done!
Well, not really, it hasn't been steam blocked yet because that requires a cleared space and also effort, so it's a bit messy and the edges still curl up. But the #knitting part is done, at least!
Definitely going to get this caught on a door handle sooner rather than later...

42 out of 50 inches of plain black stockinette done, not too shabby!
Update on the unphotographable black void of stockinette: it's about halfway done and I regret my life choices.
Of course @maru_1 is already finished hers, so it's back to a one-woman knitalong for me 😅
Yeah so my #WIPWednesday updates are going to be a bit plain stockinettey for a while, soz 😂
On the bright side I have got this to 12.5" without finishing up the first ball of yarn yet. Goal is 50", and I have four balls, so that's one less thing to worry about now!
Casting on two (at least mostly) plain stockinette projects in two very dark colours was not my plan for this week at all, but sometimes you just go where life takes you.
Navy blue is going to be a #CroppedBoatneckSweater to throw on over long dresses.
The endless black void that will soon become impossible to photograph is a #DummyClapShawl, part of an accidental two-person knitalong with @maru_1 as our much easier take on #ClapotisFest 😁

The stitches are adding up really fast for my Habitica stitch count challenge, and I'm actually quite enjoying the mindlessness of both, but ask me again after another week...
Best get started on this FIFTY INCHES of plain black stockinette, then! Because I guess I hate myself.

On the bright side the yarn claims to be fingering weight but it's definitely waaaay thicker, so could be worse!
