MarianoQuesto è un vecchio telefono che avevo nel cassetto, mi pare di averlo pagato 15€ diversi anni fa. L'ho scelto come mio #dumbphone per questa estate. È sopravvissuto agli eventi ed ha ancora una durata della batteria invidiabile, si avvicina a una settimana se usato sporadicamente.

I’ve been curious about products like the Sidephone, but if I can build good habits while still having access to all smartphone features, then I can solve the root issue (self control) instead of treat the symptoms (doomscrolling).
Curious about other peoples thoughts/experiences.
🍋 Superball ☀️As I watched an animal-communication Zoom video (in a great course!) yesterday, nine living creatures in my physical vicinity called for my attention. Long story short, I think I’ll graduate to a dumber phone, maybe a Light Phone III. It’s been a good run, but mainstream tech increasingly makes me feel like my parents’ religion makes me feel. I’ll spend more time with the worldwide mycelial web (and report back via sporadic laptop time). 🍄
As if in approval, a hummingbird just buzzed my head and then perched on the railing in front of me. I’m missing whole worlds while staring at this flat rectangle through which the surveillance state stares back at me.
Any of you use a Light Phone III or any kind of dumb phone they’re happy with? I might sell a hand-me-down iPhone 16 so I can spring for the Light Phone—or maybe I can find a used one. The right thing will come.

Dumb and dumber? 😁
I'm actually enjoying the extra limitations of this little phone. Being Android based, I have to resist the urge to add more apps that is really needed.
However, being able to use the QR scanner and order dinner last night was quite useful.
