Good thing that this only happens after the women's race is done - and well before tomorrow's races. Plenty of time to either secure those barriers or take the advertisement banners off. And the World championship title is for Ceylin Alvarado who finally beats Annemarie Worst in a sprint. A deserved win after the drama at Worldcup finals. The three Dutch leaders are going into the final lap of the women's #cyclocross Worlds in #Duebendorf2020, with Worst and Alvarado having a slight advantage over Brand again: 5secs it is this time. Can she get back one more time on that final lap?

The Swiss TV producer of #SRF really is not familiar with #cyclocross: Just when Worst and Brand sprint all out to get to a step-down corner first, he switches to a camera that shows Compton riding on a straight on her own - this is not how it's supposed to be done. #Duebendorf2020

This could be an early decision for the Bronze medal: Brand goes into the pits to change bike, Alvarado and Worst don't - and they have a gap of 12secs. The reason for the bike change was a broken saddle, not the need for grippier tires. In the men's under23 race, we've already seen a broken frame. #cyclocross #Duebendorf2020

Seeing three Dutch women lead the #cyclocross Word champs race in #Duebendorf2020 is not surprising: We've seen them dominate the sport all season. Compton is riding a brave race as best of the rest. Meanwhile it has started to rain in Duebendorf - this could lead to some extra suspense due to bike changes to get grippier tires.

Sanne Cant is already a full minute back before the end of the second lap. I would not be surprised to see her step out of the race. Compton looking good in the fight for 4th, but that's behind the leading duo of Alvarado and Worst and the frst chaser Brand. The race distance will be five laps, and at the end of the second lap, Alvarado, Brand and Worst are back together. #Duebendorf2020 #cyclocross

While Kastelijn is losing positions, Compton has gone past her into 4th. Evie Richards following in 6th while Cant is nowhere to be seen. We will see a new women's World champion after three years, then. Up front Alvarado has accelerated and created a small gap over Worst and a bigger gap over Brand. #cyclocross #Duebendorf2020
