Judge helps an undocumented man avoid a courthouse ambush by ICE—and she gets arrested? Meanwhile, Trump’s out here trading secrets like Pokémon cards. This isn’t justice. It’s fascism in a robe. #IStandWithJudgeDugan #ThisIsNotNormal #DueProcessMatters

Brent Molnar: Voice of Reason

Then let’s say it loud and clear: The sitting President of the United States just used a doctored image as justification for violating someone’s right to due process. Not a random internet troll. Not some rogue sheriff in a backwoods county. The President. This is not a campaign stunt—this is executive fraud, carried out from the highest office in the land.
Donald Trump sat there in the Oval Office, stared dead into the camera like a melting wax figure left too close to the sun, and held up a piece of paper with an obviously edited image slapped together like a Facebook conspiracy meme. Over the top of some tattoos on a man’s fingers—tattoos that are already ambiguous at best—they Photoshopped “MS-13” and labeled each symbol with neat little words like “Smile” and “Death.” Why? So he could paint Kilmar Abrego Garcia as subhuman. Not a man. Not a person with rights. But a cartoon villain in a MAGA morality play.
And then came the punishment—deportation without due process. No proper hearing. No meaningful legal defense. No judicial review worthy of a democracy. Just a trial by Photoshop, ruled on by a president with a vendetta and a base to rile up. This isn’t law enforcement. This is performative cruelty packaged as justice.
This wasn’t just a lie—it was policy. Trump took this fraud, posted it on social media, and used it to justify state action. He deported a man to a country where he faces credible threats to his life. That’s not just unethical. That’s unconstitutional. That is a flagrant denial of due process, which is supposed to be the bedrock of the American legal system. Apparently, under President Trump 2.0, Photoshop now counts as evidence, and trial by tweet is the new standard of justice.
If any other president—Democrat, Republican, Martian—had done this, it would be the scandal of the decade. But because it’s Trump, the outrage is already being drowned out by the cult’s applause and a dozen new distractions. That’s the strategy. Flood the zone with lies. Turn every violation into a partisan sideshow. Make it feel normal. It’s not.
Due process isn’t a luxury. It’s not a loophole to get around. It’s the very thing that separates this country from the authoritarian hellscapes Trump seems to admire. The moment we allow our leaders to bypass it because a tweet made us feel safer, we become the danger.
So no, this isn’t just about a photo. It’s about the fact that the president of the United States just used forged evidence to strip a human being of their rights and shove them into the shadows. And if that doesn’t terrify you, it should.
