This past week, I have been fighting a minor infestation of winged Carpenter ants dropping from the tongue-and-groove ceiling on our bedroom. Tried some indoor spray, did nothing.

So about three days ago, I came up with this idea for presenting two brands of liquid ant baits to them in the ceiling using duct tape and push pins.

This morning, I have yet to find one ant. Yesterday there was about five total all day. First few days there were like 50 a day.

Current mission, recycle, repurpose or recoil! That iMac has a glitchy screen, Logic/MBoard issue? There's maybe a slim chance I could install and run minimal Debian on it for 'something'. Yes, that's a MKI AppleTV you can see. Three laptops and misc hard drives (even an IDE).

My #headphones broke today. A piece of plastic snapped. Without it in place, the part that goes on top of the wearer's head came apart.

That part has to bend to accommodate the wearer's head shape, yet still hold together tightly so it doesn't come apart.

I thought there was no way #ductTape could hold it together. I thought there was no way duct tape would be tight enough. Surely the bending force would simply push the tape aside.

I WAS WRONG.

Never underestimate the power of duct tape!
