Looked out to see if there were any birds to shoot earlier this evening, and instead of the normal crew(house finches, sparrows, chickadees and doves), there was a pair of mallard ducks cleaning up the food “dropped” by the finches. The male being very careful to watch me, and stay between me and his mate while she ate.
