Very successful #banknote and #coin auction today - some of the #Polish coins fetched amazing prices. While the top price was predictably achieved by a #gold #Ducat which went for £2,000, quite a few #silver coins fetched prices in the hundreds. Other than a #telephone bidder (a longstanding client who spends big) all our bids today were obtained via the two online platforms we use (www.the-saleroom.com and www.easyliveauction.com).

The antique gold coin arrived! (Not that one, the one I got from the Bay of e.) It’s Ducat purity cuz it’s a Ducat!
So cool; from 1915 but from even older plates (a “re-strike”!).
