After a very early snowmelt, drought conditions have been ramping up in Oregon.
Gov. Kotek has declared a drought emergency for 19 of the 36 counties in the state. Last week, state regulators curtailed junior water rights between Bend and Redmond due to water shortages from the Deschutes River.

Parts of the East Coast and South saw mostly improvements this week, with areas of two-category improvement in Kentucky, Alabama and Florida. Meanwhile, the West saw mostly degradations, as well as Alaska and Puerto Rico. The Midwest and High Plains saw a mix of conditions.
