And the Drifloon winter hat is complete!

It felt good to finally make a Pokemon winter hat for myself and refamiliarize myself with sewing. Making a pom pom that stays (mostly) together was the most difficult part of the entire project somehow lol. Now to see if I'll work up the nerve to wear it around town.

Good news: The 3D-printed button eyes came out well and are now attached to the Drifloon hat!

Bad news: I broke my sewing machine's bobbin case, but I can pick up another tomorrow.

Good news: I can make decent pom poms!

Bad news: Turns out pom poms are very easy to pull apart... So I'll be researching solutions.

This is what my Drifloon winter hat looks like so far. I was struggling to make nice-looking fleece braids for the tassels so switched to some cord in the end.
Now it's on to making the face, cloud pompoms, and heart hands.
