My after work trip to the #LEGO Store to check out the PAB wall got nixed after leaving an bit later and then encountering a issue with the subway. So, I detoured to a store that carries LEGO and has deals on retiring/retired sets. Three retired sets and a free "Year of the Horse" gift with purchase over $80.

I already had the two Friends sets, but some dups are nice. The DreamZzz set's box shows it has paper pouches, so didn't bother opening it up.

With #Dreamzzz and this new Viking village, it's an incredible time to play #DnD with #Lego minifigs. (Some folks are big into this. I used to lurk them on Reddit.)

Another thing I love about Dreamzzz is the minifigs (including the slightly odd meeple-like supporting cast). I'm always looking for brightly coloured futuristic hair for space pilots and this looks like it's going to be a great source. Izzie, Mateo, and Zoey, the main progtagonists (if the hourglass logo on their outfits is a clue), look particularly good. #lego #dreamzzz

For example, Mr Oz's Spacebus has a core build of the bus itself, which can be extended with big engines or a huge cannon. Lego stopped including alt models on boxes around 2005, so this is a good way of making it clear that a set is something that can be modified and extended, not necessarily a finished product. #lego #dreamzzz
