I am working on changing some of the small ways in which Cyclopean II works, as compared with the original. Now enemy portraits will appear on screen, even in the overworld, where enemy icons are tiny otherwise.

I am going to be putting some updates here, while the game is in development. My hope is to have a working demo ready by February but we'll see if that is feasible with time. For now I just want to start mentioning some of the new features, and ways in which this game will be different than the original (Cyclopean: The Great Abyss). Enemy Portraits I am working on re-making the enemy art larger (from 128 x 128 to 25 x 256 pixels) and in four colors.
In the back of the Dreamlands Lounge sits the Reflection Booth — a mirror that shows only future truths.

I had an interesting series of dreams where I seemed to bounce between parallel and related realities until finally bouncing above them.
I wrote a short story based on the experience.
A mystery solving family, terrified subterranean ghosts, a world overrun by the undead, a giant, the bored gods above all of it, and the dreamer dreaming it.
CW for some sexual imagery, a little bit of gross undead descriptions, and a bit of talking about eating people. I left out the maggots in the story at least.
