Wow the old "turn it off and on again" trick actually worked ... only this time “off” meant physically removing the power for 2 hours before turning it back on again.
Just insane that this is how a Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE handles a power failure!

So had a sparky doing some work at home today that required the power to be off for longer than my UPS could handle.
So I powered all the various stuff down and waited for him to finish.
Then the problems began ☹️
First my Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE appears to have bricked itself. Some research suggests it has a habit of doing this after a power cycle 🤦🏻♂️ I still have my old firewall around and I'm now thanking my lucky stars I didn't factory default it last week like I had planned to!
And second one of my Intel NUCs appears to have also bricked itself. Didn't have anything important on it only my local GIT server … yes I have backups!
*sigh* this will all be fun to fix!
