Today marks exactly ten years since I joined #DrawQuest and drew my first #sloth there, using extremely limited tools and even more limited colour palette. Let’s try that again, shall we.

I used to draw sloths on an app called #DrawQuest until it shut down, and then for a while drew sloth portraits of people on another app called French Girls until that shut down, too. Now I draw sloths wherever I can, usually with an iPad app #Procreate. I do slothified versions of fine #art as well as cartoons and #fanart. I am also a #lego enthusiast.
#DrawQuest was a drawing app and a community that lasted for some fifteen months from 2013 to 2014. Every day, you got a prompt consisting of a simple phrase and stick figure template, and you could use those as inspiration to draw something. And every single day during those fifteen months, I drew sloths. People seemed to like it. It was probably the most artistically creative period of my life. I still miss it. #FlashbackFriday

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator with very little time to do personal projects but a big mind storage to keep those projects buzzing and waiting for their time to come. I have certain affinity to robots and a huge tendency to animism. I value weird stuff, lateral thinking and emotional things. Used to draw in #DrawQuest and have a serious allergy to soccer. Introvert and probably will not fit correctly in society (and I don’t care about it)

This is Slothy. Slothy used to have adventures on #DrawQuest before it shut down. Slothy’s best friend is an echidna who used to be the avatar of another artist on the app. Now they may pop up in my fan art pictures.
