BSD Conference in NL
On Saturday, 9th of May, there is the Spring edition of BSD-NL 
Our lovely BSD conference, held in the Netherlands. Or more specifically, in Utrecht - which is the centre of our little country.
Do you use the BSDs in any way - whether personally, professionally? Everyone with even the slightest interest into the BSDs is welcome, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned maintainer/contributor 
There will be a couple of talks/presentations, plenty of room and time to hack - and to socialize if that is your thing

@DrHyde well that was fun. Not really sure what I did wrong in my initial installation of #dragonflybsd. but trying to install URI would hang. Finally tracked it down to Net::Domain::hostname hanging on gethostbyname().
I had to reboot from the CD to reconfigure the existing OS. Setting the host name again and setting up DHCP. The dhcp was unrelated but since it wasn't starting automatically, I figured that was a good time to fix it.
@mrmasterkeyboard @xinit the #RightToFork is elemental to #FLOSS and necessary for #OpenSource to exist.
We ain't criticizing corporations that maintain outdated inhouse forks out of principle, and I think that #evi isn't a "fork for the sake of forking" but actually does things different and apparenty "irreconcileable" to the mainline Project.
Nit to mention EVERYTHING IS "#POLITICAL" - including "apoliticalness"!
Gonna build a #CPAN testing VM with #DragonflyBSD. Any gotchas that my fedihomies think that a seasoned Unixhead should know about?
