Roma, 20 mag. (Adnkronos) - "Secondo me non piacciono agli altri e quindi non ci saranno". Così Giulio Tremonti, presidente della commissione Esteri del Senato, ospite a 'Point Break' di Monica Giandotti e Daniele Ruvinetti, parlando dell'ipotesi di Mario Draghi oppure Angela Merkel come negoziatori Ue per la guerra fra Russia e Ucraina.
"Io credo che dovrà essere una istituzione europea: può essere la Commissione, può essere il Parlamento, ma non puoi immaginare che problemi così si risolvono in questo modo, come dire, antropomorfo. Devi avere una legittimazione politica, mi pare che tutte e due ne siano in questo momento lievemente carenti".

Rome, May 20 (Adnkronos) - “I don’t think others like them and therefore they won’t be.” That’s Giulio Tremonti, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate, speaking on ‘Point Break’ with Monica Giandotti and Daniele Ruvinetti, when discussing the hypothetical scenario of Mario Draghi or Angela Merkel as EU negotiators for the war between Russia and Ukraine.
“I believe it must be a European institution: it can be the Commission, it can be the Parliament, but you can’t imagine that such problems are resolved in this way, like saying, anthropomorphically. You need political legitimacy, and I think both of them are currently slightly lacking in this.”
