Ein Pfeifen ging durchs das Schiff, als die Ankündigung von Ash kam: "Schildfaktor wird um 9 gesenkt auf Befehl des Captains."
Kira schaltete sich dazu: "Liebe Crew, Freunde sucht euch ein Fenster und schaut raus."
Die Dienstälteren lächelten wissend.
Langsam began das Bombardement der Schilde, Regenbogenstreifen und Blitze schossen über die äußerste Schicht, ein Farbspektakel sondergleichen, während es im Inneren des Schiffes klang, als wenn ein Sommerregen auf ein Zelt traf.
Das Weltall war ein wankemütiges Biest aber es steckte auch voller Wunder und Schönheit wenn eine Person wusste wo sie danach suchen musste.
Die gesamte Crew nahm sich einen Augenblick gemeinsamer Ruhe, während Arkham Richtung Kiras Quartier eilte um den Augenblick mit ihr zu genießen.

"Nein Arkham würde es nicht mögen wenn du ihr in die Navigation greifst. Ich hab eine Idee, senke die Schildstärke um den Faktor 9."
"Das wird zu hörbaren und sichtbaren einschlägen auf die Schilde führen."

Kira's Implantat juckte, das war ungewöhnlich, normaler Weise sollten die Neural Interface Network Schnecken gar nicht vom Körper wahrgenommen werden... Es lag wahrscheinlich daran, dass ihr Implantat nicht an der eigentlich vorgesehenen Stelle lag.

Ash Stimme erklang in ihrem Kopf.
"Captain wir treten in ein Schwarm Mikrometeoriten ein." Kira antwortete in ihren Gedanken: "Sind die Partikel eine Gefahr für das Schiff oder die Crew?"
"Zu 98,36% nicht, ohne Schilde könnte allerdings mein Lack Schaden nehmen." "Seit wann sagst du mein wenn es um das Schiff geht?" "Ich habe mit Dr. Waberi gesprochen während ihres Küchen Abends, sie verglich die Ghoz'Tarc mit einem Kuchen und nannte mich eine 'unverzichtbare Zutat, für das cremige Innere' der Crew ➡️

It depends on the SC in case of Chief Engineer Charlston Trawella, sometimes Karl or also Tuck
(because if the German word "der Tacker" which means stapler the German A sounds very similar to the u in words like tucker, trucker, runner etc) is a really forgiving person. He is someone who fixes things, to fix things they need to break first right?

Dr. Waberi is a nice person but she has a mental list of deeds person done that she did not approve of. She is like Kira more on the forgiving side but lives the rule of 3.

Security Chief Silas Crosby tends to take such things more like Arkham one more chance should be enough.

2.XO William Troika is very forgiving and maybe even softer than Kira, He doesn't think much of the rule of 3 and is more the one who would give 4 or 5 chances.

03.02.2025 SC POV: You get to swap bodies with another character for a day. Who do you choose and why?

Dr. Waberi: "Swex no! Your consciousness and subconsciousness are tailored to you body. If you remove it from it's known abilities and disabilities it will totally mess up your psyche. Having a complete swap of different chemical cocktails, mood reactions, blood sugar reactions, blood pressure etc will be a traumatic experience. Can you imagine how complicated it is, for your subconsciousness to breath and control it's heart rate, everything is slightly of.
imagine you wake up and everything is 10 cm moved to the right in your Appartment and you know it is but your body just reacts as if it weren't.

2/2 William Troika joined to keep his family save because he wants to see his daughters grow & thrive. As 2.XO he has some motivation to lead born from the feeling that someone has to lead & that someone should be a level headed person. If not Alliance he would probably have Ende Up in politics.

L.Jenkins: As the second in command after Kira, Jenkins always was a man of Action, he is not so much by the book but by the means. He wants to be the captain one day but his ambition is hold back by his sense of duty. After this Mission who knows.

Chief Engineer Charlston Tuck aka Tucker (a combination from his last Name Tuck and the German Tacker which means stapler) was the leading head behind the Ghoz'Tarcs redesign so he is in to keep his project running and successful.

I will not go into detail for all the last ~30 crew members no worries.😅

Kira jumped from the seat, launching herself towards the Flight Commander slung her left arm around Arkham's waist and lifted her up gently, her right hand grabbing her lovers hand, folding their arms til the hands rested on their cheeks.

Two pandas hugging each other as long both hands kept closed around each other.

Kira's voice was gentle.
"Imzadi, this is my promise I will protect you, I will always be there for you and if the universe takes us apart I'll find you even if I have to burn it down on my path."

"No." Arkham said. "You are not a destroyer, promise me that you keep others from feeling pain, I can wait for you, if necessary until the end of time."
