I recently completed a rewatch of #DrRomantic S1 and S2.
Surprisingly I enjoyed it more than my first watch. My Korean is better, so I can now grasp nuances without always relying on subtitles.
Also my improved knowledge of Korean cultural factors made the whole plot more understandable.
However I do stand by my first impression that #LeeSungKyung is not good at romance.
She can't make a convincing being-in-love expression.

Finished the first two episodes and the first murder mystery. It is a fun show so far, not taking itself too seriously, and even making jokes about other shows Yoo Yeon Seok has starred in ( #DrRomantic and #HospitalPlaylist )
I'm eager to see more personality with ESOM as her character comes out of her shell.
But I need a break now because murder mysteries and new stories of bad people doing bad things is something I need to limit my exposure to.

Dr. Romantic Season 2
(2020 - Viki, 16 avg 1:10 eps)
Han Seok Kyu, as Master Kim, delivers another wonderful season where he seems to be the only senior doctor in S.K. with morals. I enjoyed this season more than the 1st. Set in a rural hospital with many trauma cases, it makes an intense training ground for doctors.
We get some great returning characters & new doctors with problems for Master Kim to help with. Although I would have liked to see a bit more character dev in the new doctors, I hope maybe the 3rd season was planned so we can see more dev. then?
The medical cases are interesting & we see so much of the procedures - sometimes I have to look away. The romances were nice, but all felt like they were just starting & we'll have to see how they work out next season.
