Hilton Americas-Houston workers’ strike extended through mid-October as officials postpone events

In a significant extension of their “historic” strike, workers at the downtown hotel plan to stay on the picket line for an additional 22 days. The Houston mayor and controller’s office as well as the Harris County Democrats postponed events scheduled at the hotel amid the ongoing labor dispute.
