Le théâtre de #Dougga (Tunisie), achevé vers l'an 166 sous Antoninus Pius. Il a été payé par Publius Marcius Quadratus, membre de l'une des familles les plus riches de la ville. De taille assez modeste, le #théâtre peut acceuilir 3 500 personnes sur ses 19 niveaux semi-circulaires coupés dans la pente de la colline.

The Theatre of Dougga (Tunisia), completed around the year 166 under Antoninus Pius. It was paid for by Publius Marcius Quadratus, a member of one of the wealthiest families in the city. Quite modest in size, the theatre could eat 3,500 people on its 19 semicircular tiers cut into the hill slope.

On the second day of the tour we drive to the awesome Roman ruins of #Dougga, overnighting in the holy city of #Kairouan. Dougga is amazing and I loved following Bouthine through the streets and alleys of the ancient city.
