#Gundam #DoubleZeta #ZZ was a tough one. The first half was a very different tone, trying for comedy and lighter tones. My head cannon is that they wanted to show a bigger arc for the main character to show growth into a war hardened soldier. Vs the previous two Gundam pilots having an innate knowledge and skill of an ace pilot.
The characters did get their resolutions and the final battles were impressive. If you are keen to complete your UC watch (like me), then it is worth the investment.
