Hugo MillsI went to the #DoubleBarrelled for a couple of drinks earlier this evening. It was fuller than I've ever seen it on a non-event Thursday. Not quite standing room only, but very nearly there. I suspect that a lot of them were early arrivers from the #ReadingFestival
The #DoubleBarrelled is particularly busy tonight, and apparently the heat is causing the taps to be particularly slow. It's the first time I've seen queues halfway across the room in here for ages...
The beer's still worth waiting for, though.
Apparently, on the 15th of February, the #DoubleBarrelled taproom in #rdguk is running a "post-Valentine's speed-dating" event.
I'm not sure if that's comedy or tragedy. Either way, I like it. β€οΈ

As for the food this evening... a giant pile of nachos with an Italian-ish sort of topping. To quote Les Dawson:
