Whenever I pass them, I always admire these dormer windows on Hyndland Road in Glasgow, especially the details on the outer edges on their curved pediments. They are technically referred to as Acroterion angularium, a wonderful term which sounds more like a spell from Harry Potter than an architectural feature!

Dormer windows and relief sculptures on Sydney Mitchell's terraced town house on Lowther Terrace in the west end of Glasgow. I particularly like the small creatures at the top of the downpipes from the gutters between the windows.
