Thorsten Günther🏴@drrjv The #Nazis originally had endorsed #Fraktur and other blackletter type fonts such as #Schwabacher, because these were considered #German and patriotic, but quickly outlawed them in 1941 and instead forced #Antiqua and similar #Latin style fonts onto their population after conquering other countries - allegedly because noone there could decypher these fonts. They even defamed them as "Schwabacher Judenlettern". That does however, not mean that #DorkMAGA #SpaceKaren isn't a #fascist.

...just underscoring something I have believed all along, which is that x-twitter handles are worthless and do not matter.
If you keep an account on that trashfire of a website because you are worried someone's gonna hijack your nifty handle well forget it. If it is that nifty Elon can just take it away for himself or his buddies on a whim. If you are afraid of being impersonated and you have less than 7 figure follower count, well, get over yourself and just nuke the account already (and no, being a journalist doesn't make you some sort of special exception).
X-twitter is clearly in its end stages. Beyond being Elon's personal homepage it is basically Yahoo Chat of the mid-aughts; a cesspit of AI slopbots and emotionaly stunted techbro Elon-stans. It is no longer a credible information platform so there is no point in "protecting your identity" there any more.
Just...let it go. It's basically dead now.
