SueKi 舒琪As a dancer I often joke that clubbing feels too much like work. Recently I went to an amazing alternative open air club and it felt so freeing to relearn how to move without any expectations nor reason.
The next day, I went to a humppa concert where I experienced my first mosh pit (and 2 crowd-surfs!) and it's amazing how much it feels like contact improv in some ways? Tacit agreement to care for one another, bodies swirling round organically, a heightened consciousness.. Just a lot more aggressive, but all in good fun! So it's also cathartic?
