acm@stumblewyk yeah, I'm actually watching the calendar for my spouse and kid to go Back To School! 😳 It's not like my dog doesn't break up my days anyway, or that the school year does't get overwhelming, but it's such a gift just to have control over how I spend my time without bumping into anybody else or their plans!
guyjantic has moved!Finally watching Season 2 of #Ragnarok on Netflix (I watched the first season when it aired). I am delighted by this series. The storytelling is especially well crafted; the elements of Norse mythology* are skillfully and entertainingly woven into recognizable characters, events, and tropes in the modern world.
[*I realize most scholars don't think Thor/Loki/Freya/Odin etc. mythology is nearly as old or ubiquitous in ancient Norway as is popularly believed, but this is still an excellent TV series]
I might or might not be watching ahead without telling my child. They're out of town! I had no choice! It won't be a problem to go back and start from where we left off a while ago.
