<p>1200 mensen wachten momenteel op een nieuwe nier. Jaarlijks komt de donornier voor zo'n 200 mensen te laat, omdat ze overlijden of te ziek zijn om nog op de wachtlijst te staan. Om het aantal donoren te verhogen, wordt in het Erasmus MC onderzoek gedaan of belonen werkt. Tom Oostrom van de Nierstichting vindt het geen goed idee.
