This is the Temple of Heaven in the Dongcheng District of Beijing. I visited when I went to China in 2018. The temple complex's construction commenced in 1420, coinciding with the Yongle Emperor's efforts to restore Beijing as the capital of China.

I took this on my way into the Temple of Heaven complex in 2018. I was told that the elderly can get into the park for free so they come and gamble every day. Whatever the truth is, they look like they are having fun.
