Happy new year! :D Hope yours has been starting well!

I have some exciting 2026 news I'll share another time, but for now - I was looking through my sketchblog's early 2025 posts for a "start of the year" post I'm writing, and saw this sketch of Domon I think I haven't posted anywhere else. I thought it seemed fitting to share here, just on Sakurajima, at least for now. :D

I meant to further this drawing more, but ended up working on longer-term projects last year instead. Some of my one-off WIP's fell to the wayside because of this.

It was a necessary trade-off (there's a reason I used to have mostly WIP's, instead of longer-term projects ,until last year), but I would still like to finish these G Gundam artworks at some point. :D

Until then, I hope any G Gundam fans who might happen to stumble upon my WIP's might still enjoy them in the meantime!

Since this is an anime-centric server, seems appropriate to start with an anime drawing :)

G Gundam is one of my favorite shows, and in my (perhaps controversial) opinion, my favorite Gundam from the franchise. ;) Domon Kasshu is also one of my all-time favorite characters. :D

I have too many G Gundam wip's I've been meaning to finish (I promise I WILL finish them), but here is a rare finished one - owning to being a little more simple compared to my other G Gundam wip's right now.
