I am getting rid of a bunch of LDs. Does anyone want ANY of these Domesday captured?
I specifically want suggestions if films have unique audio or video that's "stuck" on LD.

@fenarinarsa one thing to note is that Domesday Duplicator/RF capture bypasses the need for a hardware TBC, as you don't need to worry about stabilizing the output composite/S-Video signal; TBC functionality is instead handled by software 🤯 .

@thomasfuchs personally after doing #DomesdayDuplicator captures, there's just no comparison to how GOOD that picture looks on a digital screen. I'm fine to playback on say a CRT or such, but having that clean, pristine analog-digitized copy is just too convenient :)

@kepstin @textfiles @a You actually can use FLAC to some extent. I highly recommend reaching out to the people working with ld-decode and vhs-decode, as that's their primary domain of expertise; RF capture + post-capture compression
