Melissa Atwell“Avatar: Fire and Ash” is yet another extraordinary experience from James Cameron. The Avatar films have definitely set the high bar for the art of feature film production. “Fire and Ash” takes you on deeper emotional journeys with the characters, and I love that the film has the time to linger in these moments.
I know many people dismiss the acting … yes, ACTING … in these movies, and that is a tragic misunderstanding of the art. It is PERFORMANCE capture, not just motion capture. “Fire and Ash” has some incredible acting in it, along with some great writing throughout. Awards should be given.
With the combination of state-of-the-art natively shot 3D, plus a stellar immersive audio mix, it truly draws you into the movie. Please make a concerted effort to see this film in a #DolbyCinema theater. The 3D is crystal clear, and the #DolbyAtmos mix is absolutely stunning.
