A wise sentence stayed with me when I watched the documentary about the Irish writer Edna O'Brien this week as part of the #dokumentale festival. She herself, interviewed in her 90es said sth like: "You know, there's sth like trauma. And it stays with you."
Most people, from my point of view, don't understand how privileged they are if they grew up with ~ caregivers ~ with whom they could - despite small dysfunctionalities - evolve safely within their own authentic personality.
