#Dokomi2026 is in 2 months and I have to decide soon what I can still get done until then.

A full new comic is out of the question (I have a script but not yet a single page drawn).

Other comics artists told me it’s good to have sample booklets for comics to distribute for free. I’ll just have to see how expensive that is to make and no idea how many make sense. Then I could make some for my existing comics and some for the new one.

Man the artist alley space is in such a weird state rn. You see more and more salt and hostility every year when major events like LBM or #Dokomi are sending their confirmations/rejections. :/

This year was already controversial because Dokomi reserved 30% of the pro tables for "full time" artists (70% income from art, with proof). And apparently there's 4000 applications from all over the world for less than 1000 tables.
