Hi! If you are in Montreal or surrounding areas (I like long drives...let's max it at 4 hours), and you're looking for a new dog...let me introduce you to Lilly! (Yes there is an adoption fee)
She is a joyful 10 year old chihuahua mama who just needs a home to retire to.
She is my fifth foster dog, and is somehow becoming our longest foster. I don't really understand why - chihuahua prejudice? She's spent the last 10 years of her life in a crate - 5 years used for breeding, 5 years of being crated because her caretaker was "too busy." She is newly spayed and had a ton of teeth pulled out, but LOVES FOOD anyway.
Her favorite thing to do is lie down on a soft blanket. She likes rolling around in the grass on sunny days, eating apples and cucumbers, and occasionally crawls into your lap for snuggles. She is fine in the car but I recommend a car seat or leash situation because she does explore.
She is your typical rescue - she needs time to come out of her shell. It was three weeks before she barked for the first time (and it was a cute little squeak). She is okay around children, but honestly would prefer a calmer environment.
