This gadget is called a Furminator. A comb to get the loose hair off your dog. Used it for the first time a few minutes ago. Thinking now that I should get a lifetime supply of these things!

If we're going to have dogs as companion animals, why not utilize their fur? I know all the long-haired dogs I've known have appreciated a nice shearing! (My first job was working for a dog groomer.)
