this happened to me 11y ago.

it took having others advocate for me while i was in horrific pain to get a biopsy done that confirmed i had cancer.

then it took a better doctor to confirm i had cancers, plural.

solidarity in your fight but dear gods is it brutal the tag #DoctorsAreDickheads still needs to exist

Das es sich so sehr eingebrannt hat, dass ich heute davon überrascht bin wenn Ärzte meine Symptome glauben/bestätigen.

#doctorsaredickheads was pretty rough the past couple of days. on one hand, it was validating to be speaking out with others who have been neglected, abused, met with no compassion or care for other humans.

on the other hand, god, fuck that shit.

on our toes, we had drs who were HIIIIIIIIGHLY offended because THEY would never do THAT. we were talking about a system, but they couldnt see it and whew, hip bucking tantrums.
