Musical Interlude: Listened to some classic American folk music today. it's annoying difficult to find recordings of traditional American folk ballads; and if you can, it's frequently a children's album. Grrr. But when you find one, it's a gem.

Was listening to the "Mellow Mix" of RadioParadise.com, as is my wont, and they just played S&G's "Bridge Over Troubled Water," which, even though it's sentimental and frightfully overwrought and tinny-sounding, always reminds me of a particularly sweet personal moment in 1970 or so,
