When I used to protest in Seattle (2014 I think, back when Mike Brown was executed by the state without due process), I took great pride in the photos and video I posted to Twitter. What good's a protest if no one knows about it? It was before a lot of things had happened, still a bit of the old world, but social media and ubiquitous camera-phones were giving unprecedented reach to various causes, and I was very excited by that idea. I remember how hard it was to take photos on an iPhone in the rain while also walking quickly and trying to keep up.

I'm not really liking the feel of having to censor myself. And avoiding use of my phone entirely might be overkill here.

Maybe not live-blogging, but I'd like to report back what it's like up in Idaho.
