Después de días de negar la mayor y mentir para intentar vendernos la moto ayer Nvidia reconoció que el nuevo #DLSS5 no es más que un filtro de IA slop que se aplica sobre una imagen 2D.

Since I keep thinking about #DLSS5 more than I'd like to, this is what makes sense to me.

Nvidia may be very much involved in AI but not in a way that's visible to most people. They don't have an AI platform, and who needs another one? But they were uniquely poised in the gaming industry, so they shoved it into their biggest buzzword and said "Here, now we do Generative AI!"

It's half-baked, a ways off from being real, but enough to say "invest in us!"
