I just watched Cory Doctorow's excellent #pyconus2025 keynote: to my mind a powerful presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydVmzg_SJLw. It's interesting hearing warnings about today's malaise from 13 years ago, to some the generation of technologists that have helped to create it. It wasn't a popular keynote, IIRC.
django-template-partials makes this even easier by not making you create full templates for every snippet you want to return. you can define partials in a full template.
