The 1972 #NCAA #UniversityDivision basketball tournament involved 25 schools playing in #singleelimination play to determine the national champion of NCAA University Division (now #DivisionI) #collegeBasketball. It began on Saturday, March 11, and ended with the #championshipGame in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 25.
